Looking Ahead :
In our effort to keep up with the developments in the subject and a growing need of different kinds of information we are trying to introduce certain new features. We will be introducing a review of the latest 'textbooks' in our book review section to help students choose the most appropriate books for their needs. We are also planning to include Ph.D. abstracts in the area of journalism/mass communication and related fields to enable scholars to access such researches.

The Institute has also launched an ambitious project of content creation of study material in Hindi and other Indian languages on journalism and mass commination to meet the increasing requirements of expanding media education and industry. The project is to encourage original writings in Hindi and other Indian languages and also translation of classics and other significant works. For effective and meaningful execution of the project, a committee has been constituted to initiate discussions and debates, for reviewing the available literature and identifying the areas that deserve attention.
