   Associate Professor at IIMC since 2008.

   Producer in All India Radio for almost 15 years. (1994-2008)

   Program Officer (Community Participation and Media) with the District Primary Education Program of Assam for around one and a half year. (1998-1999)

   Started as a Staff Reporter in The Assam Tribune, the premier English Daily of the North-East India in 1993.

   Designed and prepared the syllabus and also conducted the first ever Radio Jockey Certificate Course of IIMC, New Delhi.

   Prepared the syllabus of Masters Programme of Journalism and Broadcast Journalism for IIMC as a member of the syllabus framing Committee.
